I like baseball history but I was today years old when I realized Don Sutton made the third most starts in MLB history and that he never hit the DL once in a 23-year career. Both are kind of astounding to me.

RIP to one of the more underrated all-time greats

sucks he was never able to win a ring. he left LA after the '80 season and the dodgers won the WS the next year. rejoined the dodgers in '88 but was not on the postseason roster

^He came closest in 1982 with Milwaukee.

It was just yesterday he faced Joe Morgan. Or so it seems. Now they face off for eternity.
