Winnipeg is looking to trade Nik Antropov, Ron Hainsey, Alex Burmistrov and Johnny Oduya. Biggest need is a top 6 centre, but will entertain all offers.

My untouchables include Phil Kessel, Dion Phaneuf and Luke Schenn. Anyone else can be moved, and we're looking for a first line centre in return.

Colorado is looking to improve greatly. We do not have a 1st round pick in this years draft, thanks to the intelligence of certain GMs.

So therefore, we are not looking for futures deals, as the last thing we need to do is to give Washington Yakupov to play with Ovechkin.

The price for Stasny is something like: Top prospect+2nd liner+2nd liner/2nd pairing+pick

Colorado is also accepting cap dumps as long as they include picks.

Washington, D.C - Shortly after taking the riegns as General Manager of the playoff troubled Washington Capitals, CooperDean insisted he wouldn't shy away from major shake ups to the club. He fulfilled that statement on Sunday Afternoon.

As Washington fans enjoyed their Sunday afternoon, Cooper pulled the trigger on what will be considered a mojor move for two Eastern Confrence teams. The Capitals sent perenial scorer Alex Semin to the New York Islanders in exchange for defender Mark Striet and forward P.A Parenteau.

"We're really happy to add a great defenseman like Mark to the squad" Said CooperDean on Sunday, "He is a well-rounded guy, he can put big numbers on the score board, but can also take for of business in his own end. Thats what we want in Washington."

Cooper also made statements on Semin - who have gotten into fueds in the past, with Cooper not pleased by Semin's attitude - saying this deal had nothing to do with the pasts conflicts between the two. It was simply a great deal for the Caps. Cooper wished luck to Alex, hoping he can find his scoring touch on Long Island.
