I saw this 2021 movie as part of the Milwaukee Film Festival today.

It has been described as 'like FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS on ice" and was directed, partially produced and partially written by Tommy Haines.

It follows two Iron Range high school teams in Minnesota on and off the ice.

I think it is worth 107 minutes of your time.

Admission of ignorance: I had to look up who "Tommy Haines" is. The Pond Hockey director, among other documentary films with a Midwest U.S. focus. Still not enough for me to dedicate those 107 minutes, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.
