I got a Synergy Elite SE in one of those packs. I've been using it for a year and a half such an awesome stick.

I would never buy a product like sticks or skates such crucial components for being a rinkrat without knowing what sticks they are, and what their flex, and lies are.

It's almost like putting 20k down on a car and letting someone else randomly select on for you. Sure, you could maybe get a Camry or Mini Cooper, but you also might get a Dodge Neon, or a Chevy Cobalt.

But that's just me..

This seems like it'd be real fun if you're not too particular about your equipment. I might give it a shot.

With my luck, I wouldn't get the 70-80 flex sticks, I would get the 110 flex.

Well it's more like putting down 20k for a car and getting a random $40k car ;).

Anyway, I'm always up for trying new curves, I feel that if you have good shooting technique it won't be all that bad no matter what you use. It may take a couple of games to get used to, but whatever.

Flex, curve and lie is way too important for me to ever do this. I dislike stiff sticks, heel curves and high lies, even if I got a totalone and a S19 they'd be essentially useless to me if they were 100 flex, 6 lie heel curves. I would shoot WAYYYYYYYYYY better with a cheap stick in my proper flex/curve/lie than even a top of the line stick in the wrong flex/curve/lie, to me this deal is almost as bad as buying skates without knowing what size/width/brand you're getting.

It's pretty tempting for the price, but I just can't bring myself to do it. The uncertainty kills me because I'm so particular about my equipment.

This would probably be a good idea for someone who hasn't tried a lot of different kinds of sticks. You never really know how one feels until you use it, and this would get you right out of the comfort zone.

Plus, you could easily re-sell them and get your money back.
