Most top scorers are Canadians (Desrosiers is originally from Canada but now is French), only one French-trained player in the top ten (Lamperier) and five in the top 50...The vast majority of top players are thus non-French, play on the first line and the PP. So, despite having the vast majority of players comes from France...not many are in the top tier. The good French players are more and more going outside of France. Still, I think it does not look good for the future of youth hockey here, if the locally-trained players are not good enough to be top players in the top French league.
