Unfortunately, no. Wait for this bubble to burst. Prices are absurd now. Sometimes you can still find deals on E-Bay or at shows (depending on where you) live and some sellers price to move.

I am a fan of these videos. A good series focused on the love of collecting.

It’s popped up at $75 before this price boom. I’ll find one for cheaper eventually.

I just got excited over the Pogs because I don’t know anyone that even knew those existed. Whereas everyone knows of the Orr rookie card.

It’s an SSP since UD messed up and probably forgot to print it. Same with the Jeff Skinner quad Diamond from that year.

Are you sure it wasn't from a multi set update? I don't think that card is hard to find.

I might be wrong, but I've had a couple Skinners

I know they’re not from an update for sure since I don’t think they had Black Diamond as update cards that year. That was back when Rookie Update was a product in the early-00s. The Skinner ASG Quad Diamond and Sauve seem to both be short printed. I’ve seen parallels of both more then the actual card itself. Not sure why.

What would be the best way to buy a Gretzky OPC rookie? Budget around 3k. I'd plan to send to PSA.

Buy raw? Buy a BGS/KSA/other graded one then resubmit to PSA?
