New changes were made today to HA. Below are the released in-game notes from the developer.

06.01.2017 - Changes and fixes

A player’s skill can be increased with training to up to 250% of his quality (200% before).

Increasing a facility level will only take 1 day from now on. This does not apply to increasing the maximum possible level with research.

We’ve corrected the players who incorrectly had no-trade clause in their contracts.

Caps on player skill level were increased mainly due to continued higher level players being developed and the need for validation of and distinction for that training.

Facility advancements, (I think, once the facilities are fully researched,) have their time of increased operations reduced significantly. Early report has it that the time for decreased operations has not changed, so people just cannot flip it back and forth on a daily basis.

I have no idea what they mean by no-trade clauses being removed. There currently is no trading in the game - only movement of players via the market. Perhaps the wording is incorrect. Maybe this is to clear up some market irregularities.

Under the Manager navigation link, there is now a navigation link option titled "B" Team. Clicking on this leads to an announcement that it'll be a feature released soon.

Version 5.10 was released yesterday, and includes one new feature, a second managed team independent from the first, in order to spur activity and competition in the less populated countries. Here is the official write-up:

There is a new feature available – B teams.
[Your] B team will be separate and independent from the A team, only sharing the same manager. To apply for the B team you need at least 170 of the sponsor pack subscription days at the moment of the application. Manager of existing B team whose sponsor pack subscription expires, will lose the B team after 21 days since the last login with sponsor pack. It is still possible to save such a team with a timely sponsor pack purchase. Starting today you can already apply for a B team, but first teams will be assigned in the Sunday’s game update. It will be based on the original registration time of the main manager, so the “oldest†managers will get team in the highest leagues of their chosen B country.
Countries available for the B teams are those with the least number of active managers, the list will be presented upon the registration, you cannot register the B team in the same country as your A team. We aim to improve the overall activity and competition in these countries.

Some B team rules:
can't participate in national elections
can't trade players with the main team
can only arrange friendly games with the main team using the manual challenges (auto challenges won't work)
won’t be able to bet on your B team’s games in betting office

In the coming seasons we will be also developing the U20 teams (C teams). C team will be connected with A team, sharing the facilities and some players and more. Manager can choose to manager B and C, only B, only C or only A teams.

Addendum: When the new season [begins] on Saturday, [a] sufficient number of new leagues will be created in those countries so every B team applicant will get his team on Sunday.

Version 5.11 of HA was released on Sunday.

There will be a greater amount of players arriving at the youth school and some with developed experience (similar to what currently exists with draft picks.)

GMs are also limited from having one of their teams scout the game's of teams in their other team's division. This is an additional measure to those taken after the introduction of B teams to avoid unfair exploits.

Here is the run down from the developer's, unedited:

"New feature added into the sponsor pack – automatic tool for fast sending offers to all of the leagues’ sponsors.

Fee for frequent transfer listing of one player has been replaced with transfer freeze time for a few days/weeks.
Depending on the number of subsequent tries:
1 = freezed for 7 days, player can be transferlisted immediately if the asking price is 70% or less of the previous one
2 = freezed for 14 days, player can be transferlisted immediately if the asking price is 50% or less of the previous one
3+ = freezed for 21 days, player can be transferlisted immediately if the asking price is 40% or less of the previous one
Asking price 10 000 000 or less doesn't inflict freeze time.

Names and talents of players in the upcoming draft will be hidden. Names and talents of players in draft will only be visible for fully scouted players.

We’ve slightly decreased the chance of an unstoppable shot.

Auto friendly game scheduler was corrected a little. It should be possible to schedule a today’s game, even after some games have already finished in the current day.

It will be possible to buy a player to both A and B teams, if at least 280 days have passed since he has been scouted from the other team.

National players will always wear their national jersey.

We’ve slightly improved the information about goal scorer and assists in the match broadcast.

New icon in the player detail to directly send mail to his manager.

We’ve improved the values of players for the draft calculations. "

The game continues to progress and refine, and there is notice that the season following next that junior (i.e. U23) teams may be introduced for those with a sponsor pack.

03.01.2020 - Version 5.25

End of season players stats will be saved for every player in game but they will be visible only to managers with SP.

We’ve decreased the best discount for best satisfied unprotected player from 30% to 25%. At the same time we’ve increased the maximum discount for sending the offer fast from 6% to 10%.

Cash limit has been increased to 12 000 000 000.

Maximum number of auto friendly requests increased to 20.

Maximum number of players in team increased from 50 to 60.

Training and regeneration areas and Youth school research of levels 100% and lower will be faster.

Corrected bug in game tactics: The shots aiming change with the condition of the opponent switching to the 2nd goalie didn’t work.

I started playing again about 2 weeks ago after several years away....Easy to jump back in. Totally sacked all players game gave me...going young, and building the facilities at the stadium...Tough going haven't won a game yet, but that's ok. don't expect to be competitive this season.

My team is Demolitia Totalus in US III.2

icko has released version 5.90. Here is a copy of the features added. The biggest deal is the addition of U23 teams:

U23 teams:
You are able to create and manage an U23 team, connected to A or B main team (or separately to both of those). Here are some details:
1. Separate league structure for U23 teams named "International U23 league", all U23 teams will participate.

2. U23 team can be started in the main A or main B team. To be able to start the U23 team, you have to select at least 20 players, 17 - 23 years old, who are not currently on the market. Those players will be immediately moved to the new U23 team. Lack of suitable players will prevent you from starting the U23 team.

3. Next step is the selection of specific team in the U23 league structure, which is fairly straighforward.

4. Moving players between main and U23 teams:
- use the bus icon in the player detail next to his name
- one specific player can be switched between the teams once in 1 day in any direction (once in several days without SP)
- switching is not possible for players on market
- you cannot remove or acquire players in U23 teams, except firing them or switching them back to MAIN team for further action

5. Shared total maximum number of players between MAIN and U23 teams is 64.
- this limit will also apply for all main teams with no U23 team.
- minimum of 20 players will apply separately to both MAIN and U23 teams.

6. U23 teams have no income and the player expenses are taken from the MAIN team's cash.

7. Training and regeneration facilities are shared with the MAIN team.

8. Player scouting is shared with the MAIN team.

9. Experience from games:
- experience for all players in U23 teams will be at around the 3rd league levels of MAIN teams, regardless of the league level of the U23 team

10. U23 team expiration and cancellation.
- the team will be automatically disbanded if the number of players will be lower than 20
- recreation of the team will be possible only after a few days (sooner with SP than without the SP)
- players of a disbanded U23 will be automatically moved back to the MAIN team

11. Players stats will be saved when swithing the player to U23 team and then restored when switching back to the MAIN team.
- end of season individual player stats awards will not happen in U23 teams

12. 24 years old players in U23 team at the end of season right after the player ageing.
- they will be automatically transfered back to the main team
- one of them, the one with the highest AI, will appear on the transfer market as restricted free agent

Player jerseys events:
Every Saturday the players in every league can win a special jersey, this jersey can give the player some bonuses. Each month's event has a different criteria and any player that meets that criteria gets entered into a weekly draw to win the jersey. The first event will be “March Shape-Up”:
Players running out of gas? It happens to the best, but let Hockey Arena help you out in this March Shape-Up Event! Any player with at least 1 game played and a Rating of less than 4.5, calculated at the end of this event, is eligible to unlock a Shape-Up jersey for that player!
Requirements: Games>0, Rating<4.5, Age>19.
Bonus: Form +20, Energy +5


The jersey can be deactivated 14 days after activation.

Other changes:
At least 3 unique players are required for the penalty shootout to decide a tied game, otherwise the system will automatically choose the players.
