I think they could have kept Strombo as the late game host. He may have grown into a replacement for McLean. The problem is that HNIC lacked an upcoming B team. Frankly, the local Jets broadcast on TSN is better than most HNIC shows now. SportsNet did get Cuthbert, maybe they could poach more.
