Guys I have a question for everyone: Which ATD was your first one?

For me, it's this one.

2004. The 3rd one on the boards.

I lobbied for our own board. We got it. Unfortunately at "Fantasy Games". I complained to numerous mods to no avail. Then suddenly a couple of year later we got to be where we belong and began: the History board.

2011 for me too. Were Reds and I the other side of that trade? I think we were.

I don't know if I'd be in it if it weren't part of the history board. I love the history board, but a bit of occasional lurking in other forums has been enough to tell me that I'd prefer to just stick to this section.

I think it was with VanI? But maybe I confuse it because I attempted to reunite Gretzky and Lemieux with a big trade with VanI, but it was vetoed. Could have been you.

I remembered that you too started in 2011. Looks like 2011 was a big recruiting draft for the years to come.

The draft came from a Leafs fan board i had no idea about (am NOT a Leafs fan, at least not of teams in my life time I've watched).

On HFBoards, ATD #12, 2009, but I did two others on a different board that seventieslord (as well as future HF GMs Dreakmur, Jarek, Dwight, a few others I may be forgetting.)
I can picture myself making my ATD picks in a bedroom in Sackville, NB that I lived in circa 2006, so at least one of them happened that long ago.

Such an oldster ! I also did one on the Leafs board but it was after 2011. I won it too.

Kindda weird, that you guys were doing ATDs in 2006 on the Leaf board, but didn't come to hfboards to participate in the ATDs that were already running. But I guess such was the internet of old, that not everything was centralized. Hfboards was not yet "Hfboards", the big main site that it is today (I assume).

Actually, 70s was a relatively longstanding ATD participant on HFBoards, and brought it to chat.mapleafs.com in 2005 or 2006, depending on whether I was in the first one there (don't remember really). And HF was already up to 12 ATDs in 2009 when I switched over.

No idea what VanIslander is talking about when he talks about ATDs starting on a Leafs board. If it did, it's way before my time.

My first main draft was ATD 12, the last one in 2009 before we went to the once per-year format. Got to start with Bobby Orr right from the start - that was fun!

My first overall draft was MLD 11, back when the Minor League Draft was promoted as a way to introduce newbies to this. I remember @seventieslord gave me the hard sell before I joined. He was always the best at getting new people to join these.

This is one of the strangest thing about you; member on hfboards since 2003, hockey books collector, yet never around the ATD for 15 years !
