I haven't seen Rossi ranked over Holtz/Byfield anywhere. Doesn't mean he can't move up the board though, the guy is one of the better players I've seen in a 67's jersey the few times I've watched him.

Rossi is going to be a force once he grows and fills out. Already a dynamic skater and terrific playmaker and vision, just needs to get bigger

67's are the #1 team in the OHL and #2 in Canada, they have a record of 20 16 3 1 33pts 0.825%, they are on a streak of 13 0 1. They are 11 pts ahead of their nearest rival.
They have the # 2 and #4 leaders in scoring, Felhaber and Keating. Felhaber leads the OHL in goals and Keating leads the league in assists.
Marco Rossi is the #1 rookie in scoring and is 15th overall in OHL scoring, also they have #2 rookie in OHL scoring.
They have the #1,2,3 and 4 leaders in +/-.
They have the #1 goalie in wins,

Originally it was thought that the 67's might need to make a play for DiPietro in order to shore up their goaltending, but Andree is more than getting the job done for them. That's nice, as it saves Ottawa from having to mortgage the future for a half season rental.

London will be tough now thst they got Bouchard and Formenton returned to them, but I like Ottawa's chances to go right to the OHL final against them. Once you're there anything can happen - Sault only lost five games all year last season, but simply ran out of gas in the OHL finals...

Bad news for the 67's

Bernd Freimueller @bfreimueller

Kick in the gut for Marco Rossi and Austrian junior hockey: Torn ligament in his arm, maybe surgery necessary. No B-WJC for him, might be back in January...

Obviously not great news, but January still leaves two months of regular season left plus playoffs, and it's not like this team is going to fall out of the playoff race any time soon. ;-)

Yup and Jack Quinn is also an absolute stud, amazing hockey sense also draft eligible next year. Really fun team to watch right now, shocking how few people go to the games I have been to several this year and its a great time. Cant wait until they play Gatineau home and home in a few weeks, not much better hockey atmosphere then a friday night at the bob.

Wonder what they had to pay to get him. Here are the picks that 67s owned before today:

Second-Round Picks – 14 (five in 2019, three in 2021, two each in 2020 and 2022, one in 2023 and 2024)
Third-Round Picks – nine (two in each of 2019, 2020, 2021, one in 2022, 2023, 2024)

All of them?

Some-one posted this in the 67's board

"In return, the Spitfires get Russian forward Egor Afanasyev, Ottawa’s 2nd round pick in 2019, London’s 2nd round pick in 2021, Ottawa’s 2nd round picks in 2022 and 2023; and a trio of conditional picks – Ottawa’s 2nd in 2021, Ottawa’s 3rd in 2021 and Ottawa’s 3rd in 2022. "

Not bad if true, looks like we'll have some playoff hockey in town after all this year!

This team was already favoured to get get to (at least) the OHL finals against London. Dipietro probably makes them the odds on favourites to make the Memorial Cup out of the OHL. I don't think this pushes them past PA, but I bet we'll see them ranked as the #2 team in the CHL sooner than later.
