High scoring season?

After some games in this season, can we say, that this will be something special?

We saw this crazy game between Washington and Houston (158:159), New Orleans and Golden State (123:134), Milwaukee and Cleveland (129:112), Memphis and Brooklyn (134:133) , Milwaukee and Miami (126:131), Warriors and Clippers (122:141) plus many others with 120+ points both side.

Im not following NBA in detail, but this is something, we didnt saw long time, isnt it?

No defense season?

With the amount of free throws each game & no defense being played, I'm finding it harder and harder to watch games. Hope the NBA does something about it

I'm seeing a lot of end-of-the-3rd-quarter score lines that were usually final scores 10-15 years ago.

Is there too much scoring in the NBA?

No more give and go's, no more double teams, no more open paint. The way the rules used to be allowed for more missed defensive assignments/more flow. Now with zone D lanes are clogged and there is no movement on D. Too many players flop now because of the over officiating. Sure guys can hit 3 pointers but that doesn't make a player more skilled, just means they can hit 3-4 three pointers a game. Harden is a perfect example of this. It doesn't make him better because he can score all those points it just makes him a ball hog.
