Between Gritty and Bowsette, the Internet is straight being burned to the ground this week.

Also Ottawa is such a shit show.

Also all of north jersey was under water today. Legit under water.

So I think I've uncovered a universal gas station scam.

You know when you're selecting the gas grade you're using, regular, silver and premium or whichever, all three lights are supposed to flash until you pick one?

Lately, and I've noticed this a lot, the regular light doesnt flash. It works when you press it, because that's the one I always use, but theres no flashing light indicator.

Which, to me, is sneaky as hell.

How many drivers looking to fill up their tanks, see just the two flashing lights and think those are the only two options, thus paying more for a tank of gas?

I should take this to someone higher up. If I stop posting, know that Big Oil tracked me down and killed me for exposing the scam.

Lol I've never seen the regular light not flashing. And even if I did, I'm not gonna choose the more expensive option just cause a light isn't flashing. You'd have to be extremely dumb.

I know, right? I mean, for the longest time it was just a constant. But it's just lately I've noticed numerous times that the regular light isn't flashing with the others. Which got me thinking a bit too much about why that is.

Of course. Seems like it's always that one, though. I've never seen the premium light not flashing.

I suppose it's possible that, since most drivers buy regular, that light gets used the most, stays on the most, and therefore burns out the quickest.

Still think there's something fishy about the whole deal, that's all. :sarcasm:

I am more paranoid about card scanners at gas stations. I always just use a credit card isntead of debit just in case, and I yank on the card slot to make sure one of those devices arent attached.

I should have been an actuary, I am paranoid and get anxiety over everything.

our defense is still so bad that we're guaranteed to be a lottery team at least.

let Kot go dominate and bulk up in Finland.

Man what I’d give to see a .920 starting goalie for the Blues....c’est la vie.

After the ending of the Cardinals game tonight though, I shouldn’t have to hear about baseball for six months!

I have Allen projected for another down year and eventually losing his job. I think I have him a .904 SV% and 2.94 GAA to be exact but I'd have to double check. It helps that I have the Blues projected for 249 goals scored this season and them just slipping into that final wild card spot.

If Bish can stay healthy long enough to rack up 33 wins, I'll be happy.

Throw in another 15 for Khudobin and Dallas is back into contention, IMO.
