I bet all those guys' parents are still proud of them. Also it would seem your expectation is for every draft pick to make the NHL. Lower your standards.

I mean, every pick is made with the expectation that they'll potentially be an NHLer. Players who never play a single NHL game pretty much have to be classified as busts. The rare exceptions would be drafting someone like Travis Morin.

That doesn't mean their careers weren't/aren't successful or that they failed or anything like that. This isn't a measure of their career, but a measure of their draft status.

Didn't realize Chiasson has played that much, geeze.

Nuke is a tough one for me. I think he could be a 3rd/4th line player on an average NHL team, but there are too many issues off the ice.

To each their own. A lot of hockey players are disappointments by that logic. It's very tough to make the NHL.

I just don't see how a team can consider a pick a success if they never even make the NHL, no matter where they were taken.

People have way to high of expectations out of draft picks. If you get an NHL player out of a 2nd rounder you’ve done well, better than 3/4 of the league. There is no way Nemeth, Ritchie, or Chaisson are busts or disappointments in my eyes. All three are currently NHL players it would be nice if any of them turned into a star player for us, but it doesn’t happen as often as people think.

Glennie doesn't even deserve a bust label. Utter trash effort.

I messed up my votes after Bayreauther got in because I didn't realize Point was still on the board. I look forward to seeing how wrong this ends up being.
