Didn't add anyone this time. Don't really think it's worth doing so for a few more polls.

Also, the results table is up. The link in the rank number takes you to the poll thread, and the link in the prospect name takes you to their EliteProspects page.

If you have any suggestions for who to add to the polls or what to add to the table, feel free to let me know.

It's interesting that our likely top 5 prospects (I'm expecting Oettinger and Gurianov to be the next two, based on previous results) are all going to be 1st round picks except for Robertson, who was still a high 2nd round pick in what seems like a fairly deep draft.

High flying Russian Speedster Denis Gurianov.

1) Robertson
2) Dellandrea
3) Harley
4) Gurianov

So far my list is the same as majority. Who should I go next, Oettinger or Damiani? Not sure. Maybe Jermaine Loewen. LOL

Casual prospect fans only pay attention to the first round

3) Harley
4) Gurianov
5) Oettinger
6) Felhaber
7) Damiani
8) Eriksson
9) Bayreuther
10) Mascherin

I guess that would be my top 10. 1-5 were the same players for most, just in a different order as some others. Once I got past top 7 it was kind of open. L’Esperance and Gleason are also right there cause they’ve played some games in the NHL.

After Gurianov, Oettinger, Damiani it gets hard. I feel like Mascherin is going to get underrated a bit. Felhaber is the shiny new toy, but Mascherin put up 100+ as a 19 year old in the OHL.. Felhaber needed to wait until 21 as an overager. I would also be surprised if Felhaber tops Mascherins 44 AHL points this upcoming season.

But Felhaber isn't even 21 yet

I'll give Denis one more year before I write him off.

Damiani vs Oettinger is a tough one for me next, I could see either of them being picked this round and wouldn't bat an eye, but it's not looking like that is going to happen.

I'm also very interested to see where Eriksson/Peterson go, Eriksson had a good year and Peterson had a fantastic run as a 19 year old in the SHL playoffs, if he can translate that into the regular season this year he will make a huge jump on these rankings.

Erm... Meant clear #4. Upside higher than Gurianov as AS4E said with Gurianov not even guaranteed to be an NHL regular yet.

How many times does it need to be re-iterated that Nill told Shapiro Guryanov would have been on the team but they didn't have the cap room to call him up?

Everyone acting like Guryanov was shit last season when that's complete BS.
