Sorry! Didn’t get a message from Tuna

Unfortunately I’m on my phone so I can’t do a picture or anything but with the 20th pick in the draft the New York Rangers are extremely excited to take future top 4 DMan Victor Soderstrom! We did not think he would be available to us and are thrilled to add a player of his caliber at this point in the draft. We believe Victor provides a mixture of skill, intelligence, work ethic, confidence and character that will make him a can’t miss NHLer

@Day Man youre up!

The Pittsburgh Penguins are proud to select Arthur Kaliyev from the OHL's Hamilton Bulldogs with the 21st pick.

Kaliyev is already a big boy at 6'2 190lbs and has room to grow. He lead the Bulldogs in scoring with 102 points the next best forward was 79. You can argue he lead the bulldogs to the memorial cup in 2018 as a rookie. Arthur possess an elite shot that would look amazing next to one of Pitts centres. He has room to grow in the defensive zone but once he figures out how to use his size to compensate he will be good.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are proud to select from the Sherbrooke Phoenix F Samuel Poulin.

With his size, and strong 2 way game, he has the makings of a succesful power forward. We are confident with our development team we can work on increasing his foot speed to become a key contributor to our hockey club down the line.

@BoardsofCanada you are up next!

With the 31st and last pick of the 1st round the Boston Bruins are proud to select from the London Knights of the OHL, Center;

Connor McMichael

McMichael-London-Knights-384x480.jpg

“He’s got skill, he’s got very, very good hockey sense, he can make plays and score and he has a deceptive shot as well.” – Rob Simpson/London Knights Associate General Manager
“McMichael leads the top tier London Knights in points and drives the play on a consistent basis, reminding me of Auston Matthews because he loves to rove around the hash marks and unleash his shot. One of his biggest assets is how the puck always seems to find his stick. He has a knack for knowing how to be in the right place at the right time which is an elite skill that is found in many top players at the NHL level.” – Marcus Griep/Dobber Prospects
Strengths

  • Shot and release
  • Hockey IQ and instincts
  • Determination
  • Leadership
Under Construction (Improvements to Make)

  • Skating
  • Consistency
  • Size and filling out his frame

Senators would like to congratulate the St Louis Blues for winning the Stanley Cup with no former Senators on their squad, hard to do these days.
