Voted Marino, think he has the most potential of the remaining players.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Patrik Russell play some games on the big team this year.

Starrett, Wells and Hawkey all have some potential.

Matt Cairns will hopefully play more then 10 games this upcoming season. Should get a better idea of his potential.

Vesel, Vessey and Gambardella are similar prospects in my eyes. Should be decent AHL forwards. Maybe a couple NHL games at some point.

Vincent Desharnais is a monster 6'6 dman going into his senior season at college. Led his dcore to NCAA east finals last season. Could fly up the prospects list next year.

Kesselring, Siikanen and Mantha are the great unknowns.

The only 2 players on the list that I see with a bust status are Larkin and Brindamour.

Pretty impressive remaining group of prospects remaining if you ask me. Most other years all the players after 15 or so would be close to bust status.

I'm out. I no longer have any real opinions for any of the remaining prospects.

Aren't the goalies good that are left? Gambardella is supposed to be decent.. ?

Lowe is still the best bet to see more games at the NHL level imo.

Siikanen is a longshot bet to surprise a few people and Mantha... if he recovers from his injury... could also move well up the charts as well.

Starrett I think belongs in the top 20 from what little I've seen of his play but it's tough for a lower rated goalie to ever see the light of day in the NHL... even as a backup for part of a season.

Cairns and Marino are pretty close together as well. Several players are actually pretty close together at this stage and at this lower level it's all down to which player likely has the best work ethic and most desire to grab for their cup of coffee.

Marino is far from a sure thing but he's got all the attributes of a legit prospect. Big, mobile, righty, can move the puck, is a capable defender, doesn't seem to be soft, plays an important role on a very good NCAA team/program. The few times i've seen him he's always looked like a player. I think he's a real sleeper. He's a bit of a boom or bust guy but if he does make it in time he might actually be a guy who plays on the 2nd pairing in his prime. His offense is probably suppressed being behind a legit blue chipper in Fox on the right side, and my understanding is he's a guy the coaches lean on heavily for defensive assignments. I'd rank him ahead of Rasanen and McPhee myself and certainly over anyone else left on the board given his upside.

I still think Jones is the better prospect.
I do too. Bear looks good with the puck on his stick, but he's a bit of a disaster without it. Jones struggled to adapt to the AHL for a couple weeks but once he adjusted he ended up being one of the Condors top dmen more often than not.

I'm really not confident on any sort of NHL career for Vesel, but I think he will outperform others voted ahead of him at the professional level (AHL, ECHL, etc.)
