Persson went from being the #1 scoring dman in the Swedish Division 1 league (3rd tier league in Sweden) 2 years ago to being the #2 scoring dman in the SHL last year.

It's an impressive jump no doubt... but put me in the camp who wants to wait and see if he has a decent follow up to that performance in the SHL. His team was solid (2nd highest scoring team in the SHL) so he no doubt benefitted offensively by playing there as well (but obviously helped the team offensively as well... catch 22).

He's also 24 which means he has 4-6 years on some of the other Oilers prospects listed here so he should be performing better than most younger players here.

Other picks that I think might be somewhat underrated by now are one of the goalies... Wells/Starrett/Rodrigue.. but which ONE? Goalies are so hard to project and someone who looks solid now could be junk in 3 or 4 years when they should be getting closer to NHL level.

I'd probably lean towards Starrett right now because we can at least see what he is... a decent goalie at the ECHL level which is at least some pro experience albeit low level obviously.

I still have Rasanen as the best of who is left though... because he's a solid 2 way centre and I think he legitimately has a good shot at being a bottom 6 option for this team after he develops further and leaves college.

I was going to vote Rasanen again so it wouldn't have made a difference.
