I think you have to go with Caleb Jones or Ziyat Paigin at this point. I see them as the guys with the most upside here. Both could develop into top4 d-men. Paigin was a regular on a strong team in the KHL and was an integral part of the russian WJC team that went to the finals. Not to mention that he's 6'6" with good mobility, pass and shot. Jones on the other hand is younger and smaller but displayed some very good puck-moving skills at the U18's and has a solid all-around game. He'll develop very nicely in Portland and probably get lots of minutes in all situations together with Jack Dougherty.

I am actually really surprised that Vesel, Campbell and Muir haven't received a vote here. Muir and vesel put up good numbers in college as 19 and 20 year olds, and Evan Campbell had very good numbers.

Three years from now, if these guys progress from where they are now, most here will be clamouring for players just like them to be signed as college free agents...

For the record, I voted for Jones, just surprised there is no love for these three guys.

At this point we are looking at NHL longshots ... none of the remaining guys have a hope in cracking NHL lineup the next few years.. Oesterle and Moroz perhaps if there are 5+ Injuries next season at the same time.

Miller and Oesterle got some NHL games at the end of the season when games meant nothing and a lot more than 5 guys were out with injuries. If the Oilers need to tank at the end of the season again then sure Miller can be considered an NHLer.

NCAA guys rarely get any notoriety around here, there's also a bias against the newly drafted guys too (but that's more understandable).

I really like Campbell. I have him in my top 15. He had a great year. Plays a very pro style game. Also I switched to centre this year and thrived. He has a shot at a becoming a nice bottom six option.

from what I've heard of Laurikainen we might have a great prospect there. We just don't have a lot of info on him.

A big factor in his favor is that we are quite weak in goal overall. A lot of prospects don't get the ice time to succeed. Letting Bachman go means that both Brossoit and Laurikainen will get a lot of time to show their stuff, and even a lot of patience for them to fail a bit but still get the chance to bounce back.
