Alright I'm fine with that, however we need to be at either 16 or 18 before the draft starts. So if we don't get 1 more then do we remove someone?

Do all the players spread across each division? Or say can you draft the same player in each division.

The way I'm reading it is 18 teams, 25 players per team...drafting 450 players tonight?

No, we have 18 teams.

As I said I re-adjusted the divisions again, owing to the need to have some organization, but this shouldn't make a huge amount of difference to the final standings.

All the players are spread throught the entire league. The draft takes place as just a pool of 18 players, and whatever division the person is in is totally irrelevant. Divisions are only in place when play actually starts and also during the playoffs. You are correct in that 450 players will be taken, 25 per team.

Good luck to everyone in the draft!

I signed up by might have to set it at autopick after a few picks....45 seconds per pick and 450 players to be selected...this could run over 5 hours.

lol nobody used the whole 45 seconds. I mean I may use it if a guy slipped and I'm making a tough choice, but most people do their picks in 5-10 seconds. The autopicks happen in about 5 seconds.

The 45 seconds is "just in case", though few use it all. I'll be stunned if we even go over two hours.

Definitely lost focus about halfway through...hopefully that doesn't come back to bite me haha. That took awhile but it was a good time. Can't wait to get the season started!

I play Proposition Jay in Week 1

Did i just get an auto draft since i was not able to be in the draft? I now have players like St Louis, Sharp and Iginla which is really cool. But my goalkeeping sucks.

/ New to this.

Yes, you were on auto draft. You can add and drop players as well as trade players to improve your team.

There are some really competitive teams. Twas a fun draft and I look forward to playing fantasy with some fellow Oilers fans. I will always give consideration to any trade proposals and I hope for a very active league in this short season. (Ku Klux Katz - White Division (I'm wondering if this was just a coincidence....))

EDIT: I just realized this is the deepest league I've ever done, so extra excitement for that.

So for any of the HF Oilers 2 fantasy managers, specifically BleedOil...

Any support for moving to a H2H league? I've used 11 stat categories in years passed, and most managers really liked it.
G, A, +/-, PIM, PPG, PPA, GWG, SOG, W, SO, S%

Also, 2 goalie roster positions?

Thoughts?

my defence on the bench are J.Faulk, Orlov and M.Staal. Not bad.

I can't believe how far Kris Russell dropped for me, I was trying to pick him but accidentally picked Marc Staal and selected Russell right after.

I am game for trades, I might consider trading Hartnell if the price is right and one of my defenceman.

Yeah, I am game for any trades as well. Haven't done anything on the trading block but open offers are welcome.

If anyone wants into another league..

Some ****** backed out last minute so now I need a replacement in the HF Oiler Rumble keeper league. This is a competitive league that we've been running for 6 years and I ask that if you sign up, you stick with it and show up for the draft. We keep 10 players this year; that number is set to rise in future years.

H2H, 12 team, deep stat categories (12/8 skater/goalie). Draft Tuesday at 7:15 MDT.

Normally we do a dispersal draft for new managers but since it's so late and I've already struggled to take care of the dispersal for the other two new ones, here is the team you will be inheriting and choosing your 10 keeper players from. It's actually pretty stacked; this guy finished second last year.

PM me your email address if you're interested and I'll send you the invite.

Do you have two good goalkeepers?

Josh Harding is not a good choice for a first goalkeeper, however, he is not a bad second goalkeeper. I am willing to trade him for any of the following goalkeepers: Craig Anderson, Ryan Miller or Cory Schneider ;)
I am willing to trade him for V Fasth too, but then i want a another player to since its quite the risk for me.

If you go to the 'Players' tab, you can propose trades and research player stats in a very easy to follow format. Your best bet for research is to change the 'status bar' to 'all taken players'. You can compare stats and sort category leaders very easily this way. To propose a trade, click on the two blue arrows icon. You will then be given the option to pick and choose as many players as you want to propose in the trade, and evaluate the trade even further before you send it to another manager or managers.

EDIT: Viktor Fasth was not drafted, so you can pick him up off of free agency. Search for him in the 'players' tab and click on the green '+'. You will need to drop one of your players as well.
