Dach hurt, really has sucked an put us back atleast a year in development as a team. However, with a solid crop of young players having impacts the future looks bright.

NHLers

Kirby Dach, with the Hawks seeming to defy expectations so far. Dach appears to have more skilled line mates for whenever he is able to return. He is our best bet for top flight center, and looked in when he played in the bubble.

Dillion Dube, has played well though very inconsistent much like my Flames have this season. Looks to be a big part of my top 9 as i figure his upside is a middle six winger.

Gabriel Vilardi, hes stayed healthy and has looked good. The Kings seem to be sheltering him a bit more than i would like. That being said im happy with him as he projects to be a solid 2nd line center.

Rasmus Andersson, weird to think someone might be carrying Giordano after years of being a stud. Andersson has been inconsistent. However logging big minutes an producing like a top flight defender. Likely settles more as a solid 3/4 however been happy with hos progress.

Jake Oettinger, started to steal the net from Khudobin till snow hit. Has gotten better as he has gone. The big problem looming is still, Ben Bishops return. Im happy with his progress so far. The big question like every goalie is will he be a big star like the Lundqvist/Rinne/Vasilevsky or more just the solid platoon guys like Binnington/Andersen. Still hope is he can be star

Pierre Oliver Joesph, he has cooled off since the Pens defense has returned. That being said, apparently the Pens have been calling him a revelation. Still question is what is his upside Tyson Barrie PP specialist, or can he been a top 4 dman long term.

Callen Foote, hes getting the Sergachev treatment. In an out of the line up, however his plus minus suggests hes been a very solid player in his own zone even if the offense has not come yet. Time will tell what his official upside is.

Noah Gregor, bottom 6 center all over him has played solid when he has been playing in the Sharks line up. Not much else to say about it.

Max Jones, i gambled on Jones frame but he has not looked good when hes been able to play. Likely a fringe NHLer at best.

CHLers/AHL

Jamie Drysdale, its very unclear if the OHL returns if Drysdale will be returned. However, as an 18 year old has produced 8 points in 8 games in the AHL. Ontop of being a world junior stud this season. He has defied my expectations. Future top pairing defender has defied expectations in a uncertain year.

Cole Perfetti, i am willing to give players pass this season. After all its been 9 months since alot of these kids played. Hes playing in the AHL as an 18 year old. Its clear the IQ is there and it will just take some time. He figures to be a top flight winger in the NHL.

Ben Gleason, really hard to get a read on him. Last year he struggled his first AHL year was great. This season he is a PPG again, im really unsure on what his future upside is with such inconsistent play. However could carve out a solid 4/5 role in the future.

Lukas Cormier, i drafted another Pierre Oliver Joesph. However, he has been even better in the QMJHL then POJ. Over a ppg again question is top 4 or PP specialist.

Jerome Porier, Saint Johns is falling behind well the East coast does not let them play. However, when he was playing won defensmen of the month. His defensive play has improved by all reports. However, he really needs to solve that side of the game or become the next Erik Karlsson to make the NHL.

Europeans

Westerlund, he keeps dominating the junior circuit as a defensemen in Sweden. He has not gotten a shot at the top league yet. Which makes me wonder just about his upside. Time is ticking to see if hes anymore than a bottom pair dman.

Daniil Gutik, hard to guage the russian league. Hes dominating his age group, in russia but his age groups is russia is not great. He could be a solid bottom 6 guy going forward.

Dmitri Ovechnikov, like above it is hard to judge his play. But again he is dominating his age group. Unlike Gutik he has played some in higher league and done okay.

Yegor Rykov, clock is ticking if hes even gunna play in the NHL. Done great in the KHL still has top 4 upside. But im starting to wonder if he is a KHLer for life.

Klim Kostin, playing well in the KHL i had hoped his strong play would mean hed join the NHL when it started. However the Blues kept him their in best interest for development. Still believe he has top 9 winger upside.

Joe Veleno, developing well in the SHL. He has been hovering around half a PPG for awhile now. Middle 6 upside still their question is when he gets a shot.

Roby Jarventie, almost a PPG in the Finnish elite league. He continues to grow in hoping for a Nils Hoglander type rise.

Linus Karlsson playing well in the SHL really broke out at almost a PPG. Was starting to wonder, if he had the offensive talent to be more than a bottom 6 guy.

Jerry Turkulinen, still unsure why he never got drafted. Hes produced at the liga every year. But if hes not signed as a UDFA soon enough may be time to cut ties with him.

Aliaksi Protas, huge center whose played solid in the KHL. I gotta wonder if he can be anything more than a 3rd line center but hes got the frame an skill set to be a great player if he can find more offense.

Some other prospects with various degrees of results. Just highlighting the best of them with the biggest upside.
