HFNHL Playoffs Begin April 13th

The end of the season was a bit weird with no NHL hockey to accompany us into the playoffs. I certainly lost some steam simming games down the stretch but I'll try to keep the playoffs moving.

Games will begin tomorrow with the usual rotation of one conference a night. The website has been updated with playoff index page and client file. Do not use the regular season links or client file!!

Is there going to be any rest days simmed? I think there are usually a couple days simmed? Or a couple days off in real NHL between end of season and playoffs.

With news of a potential early June draft we're going to do what we can to get the playoffs done quickly.

• When a round finishes we will have a rest day then immediately proceed to the next round without any real days off
• In round 3 we will sim both conferences each day

If we end up zooming along too quickly we might slow down but this should allow us to finish with a couple weeks for trading and whatnot before the draft begins.

With an epic game 7 tonight as Carolina tries to complete the big comeback it's time for a reminder on our playoff schedule.

• Round 3 will begin tomorrow night
• Rest days will happen in between rounds to give the winner of tonight's game a bit of a breather
• Both conferences will be simmed each night in round 3 to keep things moving along quickly
