The Anaheim Ducks have re-signed UFA-to-be Pascal Dupuis, as well as potential RFAs Kevin Porter, David Desharnais, and Ben Lovejoy.
The inking of Dupuis (and the emergence of Michael Grabner) pretty much assures that Andrew Brunette will NOT be re-signed. The team had already decided that it would let captain John Madden hit the open market, although it's possible the Ducks will extend him an offer after July 1st.
Porter and Desharnais figure to be in the hunt for 4th-line jobs next season. Lovejoy will most likely be the 7th or 8th defenseman, although he could see significant minutes if the Ducks follow through on previous plans to move Paul Martin or Barret Jackman.
