Loads of potential NHLers, but little in terms of top 2 line NHLers outside of Poulin, Vaakanainen and Thomson.
Nicest surprise this season is Prosvetov who has had an outstanding start to his pro career in the AHL and even got his first NHL call recently even though he did not play.
Jenik was on his way to become a blue-chipper with his production in the OHL and his great play at the WJC until he destroyed his knee there - it will be a while until it can be gauged how much of an impact this injury has.
Karch Bachman may be the biggest darkhorse on this list. A fast and very smart and responsible forward, he has found his offense in his last season in college and will go pro after his teams NCAA season ends.
Martin Kaut's adaption to North America has taken a while, but he has recently picked up his production and there's hope that trend will continue.
Two players who took the longer road but made the NHL this season are Nicolas Aube-Kubel and Carter Verhaeghe. Aube-Kubel especially shines on the forecheck and does a lot of work down low, while Verhaeghe has been up and down the Lightning lineup while slowly gaining confidence - scoring a hat trick a few games ago certainly helped with that.
