Columbus has made some tweaks to the roster that made it to the second round of this year's playoffs.

While GM Emerson is said to have a couple of more moves up his sleeve, the lineup currently looks as follows:

    A. Burrows - T. Zajac - D. Briere
    B. Dubinsky - M. Fisher - N. Kulemin
    D. Moore - M. Malhotra - S. Upshall
    D. Clarkson - D. Steckel - C. Thorburn
    M. Zuccarello

    K. Timonen - M. Zidlicky
    M. Giordano - T. Daley
    L. Smid - M. Sauer
    C. Gunnarsson

    T. Vokoun
    (TBD)

The next wave of Jackets getting NHL experience will include Blake Geoffrion, Patrice Cormier, Andrei Loktionov and possibly Carl Klingberg up front, along with Alexei (Y)Emelin on the blueline.

Obviously issue #1 is the need for a backup goalie. Fortunately there are several on the trade market, so we'll find someone that doesn't cut too deeply into our roster players...

The hope is that a full season of Vokoun and the upgrade from Booth to Dubinsky will be enough to secure a playoff spot earlier than Game 82, but given the unpredictable sim and the level of competition in the West, we're not taking anything for granted.
