The Hawks have extended the contracts of two important players to the future of the team. Max Talbot and Brad Richards have seen there contracts extended.
Talbot, originally drafted in the 5th round in 2002 by the Hawks is expected to be a gritty energy forward who can put the puck in the net and provide leadership and log huge PK minutes.
Richards, acquired in a deadline deal this year is the 1st line C the team was looking for to play with Pavelski.
While terms were not disclosed it is believed that both deals were multi year contracts
