As is usually the case, we're giving teams an opportunity to release any players who have gone to Europe and are now placed on their prospect lists.

Additionally, with the roster compliance deadline coming up, teams can release prospects that were missed that they do not intend to sign, even though it is mandatory that they do. This will be enforced more strictly next year when it is no longer a transition year.
