    HFNHL Endorsements 2013/14

Endorsements give HFNHL teams the chance to earn supplemental revenues. New this year: we are removing the commitment of dollars up front to eliminate the barrier of entry for teams on a budget. That means that EVERY team should have a full suite of four (4) endorsements (see below). ***Failure to participate in endorsements going forward therefore represents a strike against the GM, to be handled by the Commissioner using regular disciplinary actions.***

Accordingly, we have revised the endorsements. We have also streamlined selection to avoid complications.

    Commitment and Risk

NEW THIS YEAR: There is no longer any up-front commitment required.

Please note any deals you participated in and cancelled last season, as those companies will not be willing to sponsor you this year: once bitten, twice shy.

Nevertheless, there is some risk: you are limited in the number of endorsements you can sign up for, so if you don’t choose carefully you may be leaving revenues on the table.

***For endorsements requiring a player or team to qualify in the top 5 in the league, ties for 5th will be accepted.***

    Submissions & Payout

Each General Manager will be required to submit their Endorsement commitments by the submission deadline (typically within a few days before or after the start of the regular season). At the end of the season, each General Manager who qualifies for any of their Endorsement Deals must submit a detailed account of which obligations were met, and the statistical proof of the achievement.

The deadline for submission of endorsements is Friday, November 15th at 11:59 p.m. ET. Please post a response with the team name and the endorsement(s) you would like to participate in.

New This Year: Team and Merchandise Endorsements have been merged. Teams may now take one (1) Team/Merchandise endorsement, and two (2) Individual Endorsements.

    Thanks guys!

Reminder: these are due by tomorrow (Friday) night.

    Still waiting on:
    TOR
    BUF
    OTT
    NJD
    NYI
    PIT
    WAS
    WPG
    COL
    MIN
    LAK
    PHX
    DAL

Remember: there's no good reason NOT to participate in this revenue stream, so failure to sign up will be a strike against the GM, with consequences up to the Commissioner depending on the participation history of the team involved.

(Note: one team asked for a 24 hour extension in advance, which was granted. This extension does NOT apply to other teams.)
