Greetings esteemed GMs,
The Ducks are active as usual heading into the HFNHL Draft. We have acquired the 19th overall selection for the draft, moving out the 25th pick and a third round selection which will be processed when the Stanley Cup Finals are completed. We have also made one other trade pending approval for a fourth round pick this year and a fifth next year.
That being said, the following players are available for trade prior to or during the draft. The Ducks will be active and would be willing to move up and down in the first round.
Jonathan Quick. The rumours are true that multiple teams have inquired about this excellent goalie. We would consider moving him, but he would not come cheap. A first round pick is essential in any package.
Andy Greene. The strong veteran D was a significant player in our Cinderella season, winning the Pacific division. We would be willing to make him available for first day draft picks.
The Ducks will be in the market for an AHL goalie, to replace the recently retired Nick Ellis.
