Brodie is a highly productive defenseman in the sim with 32 points in 53 games this season. he would provide an immediate boost to a powerplay and has the endurance to log big minutes in all situations. this is the epitome of a top 4 defense and he's under control only through this season, so you could either utilize him as a pure rental or move forward with the intention of signing him. he's young enough to have many more productive seasons. asking price is a good draft pick and prospect or a very good prospect and decent pick.

dadonov is having a fantastic season in the nhl and is presently on pace for 34 goals. this piece is attractive because not only is it a fantastic rental, but he has a year of control remaining at well under market value and you will have a walk away or extend option *after* seeing how he plays under his new contract wherever he ends up. the price will be fairly high here. looking for young nhl talent or prospect(s) that project to be difference makers. picks also acceptable, but not as the only return.

sutter is experiencing a bit of a late career renaissance. the recipe is there for him to be rated much higher next season than he is this season with 8 goals and 7 assists in 33 games. he's a defensive stalwart that can change the composition of your penalty kill immediately with 94 DF, lots of experience and leadership. surprisingly effective in the sim offensively as well, which should only improve next season.

the winger version of sutter with 84 SK and 85 DF to make him a premiere penalty killing winger who can hold a place in your top 9 without looking out of place. he's currently out of the league, so his contract and term will be terminated at the end of the season.
