Moore is drafted out of the same league as Struble, right? USHS-Prep?

Struble in his draft year played USHS-Prep and had 40 pts in 28 GP and he also player in EHF 18U Elite and had 7 pts in 11 GP.

Moore players USHS-Prep and had 46 pts in 28 GP and also played EHF 18U Elite and had 11 pts in 10 GP.

I don't know what Moore is like stylistically when he plays. But he and Struble have a similar path and Moore had slightly better numbers.

6'3" RHD and has solid stats. Going to Harvard next year. I don't know him, but definitely the type of prospect that should be of interest at this point in the draft!

Moore was next on my list and has been on my short-list the last two rounds. Despite higher production in the same league and age as Struble, Moore doesn't have as much upside as Struble in terms of raw high end athleticism. Struble's such a great skater. I like Moore though....puck moving D who will be a nice long term project for whoever drafts him.

Buffalo will pick yet another defensemen by selecting LD Jacob Truscott from the US NTDP.
Truscott is a great skater considering his frame. His primary role with the NTDP has been as a shutdown defensemen but he has a lot of untapped offensive upside as evidenced with his offensive vision and ability to move across the offensive blueline to find lanes to the net while working the powerplay. Truscott has the potential to be a solid 4-5 d-man in the NHL.

8) Cole Perfetti, LW
38) Justin Barron, RD
100) Daemon Hunt, LD
131) Jacob Truscott, LD

Next up is @TT1 I will PM

I probably would have picked him but I already got him in the early bird draft and thought I'd go with someone different. I certainly think he has pro upside, though

I'm a fan of Moore. I picked him in the 7th in the last mock but I wouldn't be surprised if he goes in the top 3 rounds.

C Parker Ford, of Providence College

"Ford was the lone undrafted player to represent the U.S. at this year's World Junior tournament. This year, we're going to change that. Ford's most notable skills are transferable to the NHL: he's fast, he's aware, and has loads of energy. That said, it is highly unlikely Ford ever makes it above the third line."

Pick C Artyom Galimov from Ak Bars Kazan of the KHL.

Galimov had a break out season in the KHL in his last year of draft eligibility, being named rookie of the year. Good speed, good shot, good compete and two-way ability. Nice gamble at this point in the draft.

1 (15): Hendrix Lapierre - C
2 (46): Topi Niemela - RD
3 (77): Michael Benning - RD
3 (91): Evan Vierling - C
4 (108): James Hardie - LW
5 (143): Artyom Galimov - C

The Hammer
The Islanders with pick 144 select from Merrimack College of the NCAA.....Zachary Uens LD

Uens_MC_vs_VT_M_Hockey_01242020714.jpg

Last year Zachary was overlooked playing in the weaker OJHL league, his decision to play there was to keep his NCAA eligibility. In his first year as a NCAA freshman he showed poise and a true offensive mindset while carrying the play on the backend. As one of the better skating defenceman available in the NCAA this year we decided to scoop him up because we believe he can progress into a very productive offensive defenseman.

NYI Draft:
82: Jack Finley (C) 6'5" 207lbs Spokane WHL
113: Carson Bantle (LW) 6'4" 201lbs Madison USHL
144: Zachary Uens (LD) 6'2" 185lbs Merrimack NCAA
