Went with Dichow even though I don't know anything about him but the fact that he has interest from an OHL team to be their starter and perhaps he gets some time at the WJ's with Team Denmark. It sucks that Denmark won't be at the WJC's, as they will play in Division 1 Group A vs Belarus, Norway, Latvia, Austria, Slovenia on 12-8/12-14.

For the remaining players,

Alain - undrafted FA that played in the Q under Bouchard, had a decent rookie year in Laval, has some offensive skills, solid frame but needs to get quicker and work on his skating. Could turn into a solid AHLer.

Houde - A 5th round pick that was a high pick in the QMJHL draft but never lived up to it. He hit career highs in points, assists and games this year. He's skinny so will need to bulk up, has some solid offensive skills but leaves you wanting more, needs to move his feet more and get his nose dirty. He was 3rd on his team in goals, tied for 3rd in assists and tied for 4th in points. He's playing for a contract before June 1st and with a very large incoming group of rookies this year and next he will need to show a lot to get signed.

Verbeek - undrafted FA out of the OHL. Much like Gorniak you have a very speedy forward that consistently works hard. Verbeek spent almost all year in Laval and on the 4th line. Good defensive player, that coaches like Julien will love. He did start to find some offense later in the season, in his final 23 games he had 6 pts, in his first 25 games he had 1 pt. If he continues to progress over the next few years he could be someone that sees time on an NHL 4th line due to his speed, defensive play and hard work.

Sklenicka - undrafted FA out of the Czech league, he'll turn 23 next month so he'll need to show more next season in order to get re-signed next summer. He plays a very solid defensive and physical game but struggles with offense and puck movement which means he's going to be a bottom pairing D at best. I was impressed with him but in today's NHL you have to be able to handle the puck so he's got to improve there. The problem is there just isn't a lot of room in Laval so he will likely either be spending time in the press box or in the ECHL.

Harvey-Pinard - 7th round pick this past June, undersized and needs work on skating and speed, did have a good year in his age 19 season as teammates with fellow Hab prospect Teasdale, likely to play as an overager in the Q with Houde and the Sags this season. Will be interesting to see what he can do in Laval in '20-'21 or the ECHL if spots are hard to come by.

Waked - undrafted FA out of the Q, Waked is in his age 23 season and the last year of his contract, he will need some kind of season in order to get re-signed. Solid frame, works hard, finishes his checks but just not skilled enough. The Habs really did him a disservice by putting him in the AHL and injuries haven't helped his development either. He's played only 7 games in the ECHL in his pro career but done well there. I feel as though he should have been in the ECHL these past 2 years instead of bouncing around the 4th line and the press box in Laval. But he was a very long shot to be more then a bottom line AHLer and perhaps they felt they needed his physical game.

Pezzetta - 6th round pick, Pezzetta spent the bulk of the season in Laval, he played 3 games in the ECHL. He has a good physical game but tends to over do it and take some unnecessary penalties. Good size, moves well, seems to have some decent hands compared to other 4th liners on Laval. If he can find a balance between being physical but smarter while developing his overall game more perhaps down the road he sees time on an NHL 4th line especially if the league trends to more bigger, physical players again.
