Since there are so many choices as to which slot he should go in, there may be a run-off after this.

Placed him right after Severson. Hoping that by mid-season he rises to top 5.

8th...with clear potential to move up. It was hard for me to even rank him as high as I did considering he has yet to play a game in the NHL.

I put 7th. Think he falls right in between zajac and sevs. Will have to see more how he place if it that goes up or down

I put 5th. I can see both ways but he's produced at every level he's been at.

At the world championships he had the same amount of points as Kucherov in the same amount of games (16 points in 10 games). In the KHL he had 82 points in 62 games, the next closest player is someone with 46 points in 58 games. And the next closest PPG is 41 points in 41 games. And it's not like the KHL is some super high scoring league so I think it's fair to give him the benefit of the doubt. Also this is not that big of a deal but I like how he doesn't take a lot of penalties for someone who plays as much as he does.

Went with 4th, I'll be pretty disappointed if he's not better than Palmieri.

Why don't you just take the average? Much less work and probably does a better job of capturing people's opinions.
Median or Mean? :)

There was a story about a study the University of North Carolina did to see which major had the highest average salary. Cartography turned out to be the answer. Why?

As it turns out, Michael Jordan was a Cartography major. It's a big reason to go with Median instead of Mean.

But I digress. Anyway, yeah, maybe the average is a better thing to do. I was worried about a pretty flat number of votes across the entire range, but it's beginning to look like he'll fall in the 6-7-8 range.

10th. I’m not putting him above Vatanen before he has played an NHL game. (Vatanen should be higher though, but it is what it is).
