HFBoards rankings always have a bias toward Canadian and big market American teams. It’s inevitable on a site where most users are from these markets.

Sandin, Caufield, Glass, and Romanov in some order next.

Voted Sandin continuing the run on D men that’s happening.

These prospects are wildly unpredictable at this point. Even the 5-6 before them. Not that many have played in the NHL, though I think there are quite a few likely NHL pros up there.

I find myself often deferring to how close they are to being impact players in the big league rather than long term potential. A lot can happen between draft day and a would be NHL debut.

Valimaki is expected to step into the #5 dman role for the Flames next season. Who are some others?

Sandin
Robertson
Glass
Kravstov
Romanov
Brannstrom
Tippett
Frost
Smith
Hayton

Seem like they all have a realistic shot at making an NHL team next year.
