honestly winger is probably the most even position in hockey

Kucherov here is 1, Patty kane might come in 10th

The only thing separating these two is 4 years of age, one playing on a super team, and Kucherov being better at pissing off the city of MTL.

The top 10 wingers are super close to each other

McDavid, Makar, Vasilevsky are all clearly the best at their positions with 2 of the 3 having huge gaps and Vas/Shesterkin being sizeably ahead of the other top 10 goalies

Gimme Mikko Rantanen. Let's be honest nobody is taking Gaudreau over him for a playoff, right?

Huberdeau... 30G 85A is good enough for me.

previous 3 seasons: avg 92P per 82 (231P in 206GP)

add.... Landeskog

to add: Brady, Meier, Kreider, E.Kane

I just can't believe Gaudreau is getting consideration over Rantanen. Rants is younger, a better goal scorer, produces basically identically in career PPG (and if you take out that first Colorado 48 point year it gets better) and actually performs in the playoffs. Is this just the recency bias because he had 115 points, same for Huberdeau as he's leading the poll over Rantanen as well with just one super season?

Sorokin is better than Vasilevsky, so no.

Nobody is taking anyone over Kane, Kucherov or Marchand either and yet here we ate with Marner in there.

There's been an odd trend where Gaudreau's lead every poll early then other players pick up and overtake him.

No GM in the league would take Gaudreau or Huberdeau over Rantanen. Ask MacK how important he is/has been.

The other guys are stat machine, one dimensional players who suck ass in the Playoffs and in big games. I'm guessing a big reason the other 2 are winning is because of NA bias? Not sure what the other reasoning would be.

Rants even proved he can move to C and run a line when MacK got injured.

You redo this poll four months from now and the order is wildly different. Hard agree.

I didn't vote for him, but are you trying to say Patrick Kane sucks in the playoffs and big games? Or Ovechkin for that matter?

Nothing against taking Rantanen here, but your logic is horrible.
