How on earth is Heiskanen getting votes? Almost all of these players heavily outproduced him, had much better defensive stats and a better +-. Heiskanen is by far and away the worst of all the players listed at almost every single detail of the game and and a #2D at best, probably a #3D.

Not really but he has a lack of opportunity with Klinberg ahaead of him.

Also Heiskanen had a coming out party in the playoffs with 25:31 TOI

Took Dahlin again over Charlie who needs to stay healthy for me.

I suspect both McAvoy and Chabot will be 10 spots higher when we do this next year.

They might be, especially McAvoy if he can stay healthy.

I suspect that Dahlin and Heiskanen will jump higher though.

He played a lot of minutes, no he did not have a lack of opportunity. He really is far below the rest in almost every category despite similar minutes. Ice time is an irrelevant stat and bad way to judge players.

Klingberg is the PP QB for the stars, Miro plays in all situations and had less PP TOI after Klingberg came back from injury.

For the record I think Miro will be the best Dman on the stars next year, just not for fantasy purposes.

TOI is an important stat for Dmen as it shows how much confidence a coach has in a certain player and in Miro's case he plays in all situations.

A lot more relevant than ice time, but use almost any stat and Heiskanen shouldn't get a single vote.

So a +14, third pair defender who plays 12 minutes a night is better than the -12 first pairing defender who plays 25 minutes a night.

Got it.

Thanks for your insights.

Never ever said the +- was close to the most relevant. Points and defensive stats are the things that matter the most, and in that category, Heiskanens numbers are brutally demolished.
