voted Tavares but can see an argument for Stamkos, Scheifele, Point, Eichel, Monohan and Aho
Th next 7 are splitting hairs IMO

So tempted to vote Kopitar, but I'm not sure how much he'll rebound from last year. If he returns to around 70 points and Selke-level defense, then he'd be my choice.

Otherwise, Scheifele probably gets my vote.

Hard to pick here. I really like the top 7 (disagree strongly with the order of 4-7 though) - but after this it gets tricky. I'll probably say Tavares/Stamkos in some order as the next 2. It's crazy to think that no one really stands out. Some names to consider also for me:

Point - he only has one year, too soon to vote him this high over one year.
Backstrom/Kopitar - Off years
Seguin - Off year too, compared to others at least
Oreilly - Great year, but he's simply not top 10C imo
Eichel - maybe?

No I don’t pay much attention to player interviews or things like this.

Must be because I live in Ontario and get force-fed Leafs broadcasts. I don't think a game can go by without the camera panning to Ema in the crowd and them mentioning her being Mexican.

Point is getting underrated here.

If he can keep his shooting percentage at 21% then sure. If his shooting percentage goes back to normal then he has no business being anywhere near the 8th best centre in the world.
