Can't believe I'm doing this, but I think it's Toews here.

I think i've copied your vote in every poll this round - but i'm going Toews too.

No one else stands out enough and Toews just had a strong bounce back year. For one year only I think i take him above any of the others.

Couture again. If for no other reason than come playoff time every he's basically top 5. But he's not a scrub for the first 82 games either.

Pettersson should not win over Larkin, Kuz and Toews. He might be better than them down the line but isn't this a current status of the player pool? Or do we take "potential" into the mix?

Clearly potential holds some weight (Barkov at 4, Eichel at 11).

I like Pettersson, Larkin, Barzal, or Hischier going into next year over Kuznetsov/Toews personally.

The thing about Barkov and Eichel is they have some of the highest potentials in the league AND they have already been the top player of young teams. Both had above 80 points last year, and Barkov is one of the best in the league defensively (as a forward).

I agree with your 2nd statement. Those 4 all have very high potentials. Personally, I think Pettersson should be below Larkin and Barzal, but he has a higher potential than the two of them.
