I know there’s a lot of hype around Stutzle lately but man Byfield is a beast and he’s 6’4 at age 17. Most people that scouted him only watched away games as not many scouts made the trip up to Sudbury, and his WJC was under whelming but it’s rare for Canada to bring in people before they’re drafted. This kid has sky high potential.

him, Stutzle, and Drysdale are all close for me. I prefer Stutzle myself with how good and how fast he is able to read and make a play but you can't really go wrong with any of them at number 2 IMO.

Rossi would be up there as well

It's rare to have a C with his package. Already 6'4" (still growing) and an excellent skater. If his compete comes up on a game to game basis, he has the potential to be the best of this draft class.

Ik Stützle is a popular pick but c'mon its Byfield. He was dominant in league play this year and people put too much stock into world juniors.

I mean even if you exclude international tournaments I would argue that what Stutzle did in a men's league was more impressive than what Byfield did in the OHL this year.
