You guys do realize that Shinkaruk recorded 4 goals and 4 assists in 6 games for the U-18's right? This can't work, Zibanejad recorded same amount and he obviously has no offensive game.

But Shinkaruk is younger. He has the potential to not make the same mistakes that a young Zibanejad made en route to busting at the old age of 19.

Shinkaruk is the obvious choice here, but I gave a pity vote to the player with whom I'm most familiar. I'd love to pick up Mantha, but not necessarily with the seventh overall pick.

After watching Shinkaruk's WJC interview I find he reminds me oddly of a certain awkward Toronto forward.

Well it looks like the Battle of Ontario will be a battle of Kessel vs. Kessel, because Hunter Shinkaruk won the vote by a landslide victory. Thank you for all who came out and voiced their opinion, I will be posting the full results in the Prospect forum once I have collected every team's votes
