Not an option. There's no good GM's that played for the Oilers in the 80's.Hire good management.

Hire good management.
Hire good management.
He is their 4th best forward. What can they do?
But then who will claim all the BOS area rejects off waivers?Hire good management.
My guess is Brian Burke doesn’t launch a huge rant about the professionalism of Lindholm mocking the people who supported his career for 5 years.
Support his career? They booed him because the owners refused to negotiate with him because he would have been worth more money then they wanted to spend, so they sent him packing. The exact opposite of supporting his career
But I'm thankful for it.
Even the majority here have trouble dividing emotional hockey analysis with logical hockey analysis, could it really be much worse?lol, I know a few GMs on HFboards...
Puljujarvi??You need fast players 3on3. As good as Chiasson is scoring goals is he a slow skater. Run out Rieder or something. He wont't score but at least he can skate.

Reider? Now that is truly sad
The Oilers have a bunch of garbage but at least put the fast garbage out there in OT instead of the slow garbage. It just fits better . I don't care if 5on5 certain players are worse 3on3 is not 5on5
This is a pretty silly inferiority complex to get hung up on. I think it's safe to say that the "certain franchises" are the ones playing "duck duck goose" after a win and nothing else.“Professionalism” is apparently reserved for players from certain franchises.
After the game, Lindy said he did it because he felt the fans were booing him. He said his name came up twice on the Jumbotron and he was booed when it was up there. The fans here gave Lindholm nothing but love the entire time he was here. The org gave him and the other players a “welcome back” message today that drew mixed clapping and jeers, and I assure you the jeers were not aimed at Lindholm among that group of returnees.
But the point isn’t that Lindholm is a bit of a prick for what he did. The point is Brian Burke has been ranting for weeks about players doing something fun for their fans being “unprofessional”, but you can rest assured he won’t say one word about a player actually doing something to mock those fans. “Professionalism” is apparently reserved for players from certain franchises.

Regardless of your view on Burke, or the celebration, it's pretty reasonable to assume Burke would have the same view if Detroit went on to do human bowling after a win.
Which is less professional: waiting till the other team clears the ice, and celebrating with your own fans; or doing a celebration dance to mock the other team in front of their fans while they’re still on the ice?
It’s just really, really amusing that this happened after Burke made huge waves this week ranting about professionalism. I guarantee there will be not one word of criticism about that act in the national media. It is what it is, the hypocrisy either registers with you or it doesn’t.

That's right, just a bunch of garbage after the top 3 forwards...I am not supporting Chiasson....just saying it's just another piece of garbage so it really doesnt matter.
Get over it. I actually hope more players and teams mock them.
Burke hasn't even chimed in yet, let's see if he does.Which is less professional: waiting till the other team clears the ice, and celebrating with your own fans; or doing a celebration dance to mock the other team in front of their fans while they’re still on the ice?
