Barrie isn’t what they needed, they need a good old stay at home defensive defenseman
Puljujarvi is a good winger, maybe they should use him to acquire one.

11-11-1 would be 23 gamesIt.... isn't
17 points in 20 games is 3 points short of 50% of available points.
Why you ignoring OT points? 11-11-1 wouldn't be ".500". That'd be 23 points in 22 games. That's a .523 point%.
He makes some gaffe's withhow much freedom he has (Like JG picking his pocket for the 2nd goal), but he is a net positive right now. We would not have a guy who did that before besides Bouchard now. Nurse a little as well. That play by Barrie is the kind of thing the Oilers have needed for so long. A slippery/deceptive defenseman that can jump up, draw attention then dish it to one of their forwards that can bury it.
haha wow. He makes that 9/10 times. RobbedRittich's save on Draisaitl
Barrie has done what’s been asked of him and apart from the first five games with a shortened camp and no preseason has looked good. It was a good pick up and cost us nothing.Barrie isn’t what they needed, they need a good old stay at home defensive defenseman
That looks like it went went over rittich and the net.Rittich's save on Draisaitl

Attrition , schedule has to be wearing them downSome boring low scoring games in the North division tonight. A sign that teams are tightening up?

Teams also are “clicking” more. So I think it’a a bit of bothYeah fair point. Many players probably going through the motions.
He thinks Hoglander hit him in the head earlierWhy was he so mad at Hoglander?
