Never thought I'd see the day when NBC used Bryan Rust for Penguins marketing.

There was the EXTREMELY ugly side of the Jack Johnson Letang combo at work. That was ugly.

Pens/Wings will be a blowout so ultimately it won't matter but how is Hornqvist allowed to get away with the stuff he does? Why wouldn't every player just lay in the crease after any contact and see what happens? What can Howard do there?

I can see why Howard’s record is so bad if his defense lets him hang out to dry like that. How do you let two Penguins in front of the net that freely?

Hornqvist has been in the league doing this for a long time, he knows how to get away with these kinds of things. Turning your back, knowing you're in a position to get shoved so it will be from behind. Flailing to make it look like you're making an effort to move out of the way. Even just making aggressive looking movements to get the attention of the D on him. He doesn't pick up any points, but both Pens goals happened only because he was there

He’s one of the best at what he does and that’s an antagonist. Only one on the Penguins that does what he does.

The Red Wings should really be taken out of the A-list for these NBC national TV games and the Avalanche should be moved back in. With the Blackhawks being down again, they're basically relying on the Blues and Predators to be the top markets in the Western conference. Not sure where the Wild stand on the hierarchy, but they're a team whose window has closed at any rate.

On the other hand, these games should be playoff games for the Red Wings, so we'll see how it plays out today.
