At the end of the day all forwards are the same.
Last I read they were on pace to have 5-6 potential 60 point scorers this season.
In what world is that not "loaded"?
They're a top team this season
This is really painful to watch seeing DiPietro's confidence get demolished in his first game. I feel REALLY bad for him.
Sharks top 9 is very very solid, not a lot weak spots there. Like others have said there's no superstar but as a unit they're definitely top five in the NHL. Also a great top 4 on the backend. They were my pick to win the Pacific at the start of the year and still are although my Flames will make it interesting.
Kane has 10 goals in his past 9 games
Feel really bad for him, the Sharks are on a roll too (5 straight wins, 4 on this road trip)
"Terrible contract, toxic player."
What? And what does that have to do with anything? 8 forwards with more points than Dunn? Like as in Vince Dunn on St Louis?
No, your point is far less clear.
2 of em versus a Child.....but still 8 in 9 is impressive as is.
A really good forward group, to be sure.
Tampa Bay is loaded at forward.Toronto is loaded at forward. The Sharks defense is loaded.
Jumbo’s still got it
5 forwards on pace for 70 points.
Loaded with depth, but not with true top-end talent.
Very impressive San Jose...all this without Karlsson......
Dipietro has had no chance on any of these. Dudes just being hung to dry.
Also Kane is a monster. People hating on him just dont watch or appreciate how complete of a player his. I got him in 9th round of fantasy. Hes a top 12 fantasy guy in our league.
Congrats Jumbo Joe!
Yea exactly. It’s a really strong group. I just think people forget what loaded means. That’s like when people list 20 current players and call them all generational.
Can't believe someone pays Erik Gudbranson to play professional hockey.
Ok. Canucks tap out.
Yes they are. Because they have a loaded defense, a really deep group of forwards, and a pretty underrated goalie.
They are not “loaded” at forward. We can stop throwing that word around to describe above average things.
Pretty sure now San Jose leads the league in 5v5 GF/60
Quite of the "welcome to NHL" moment.
did you guys see that loaded play?
Congrats jumbo on passing number 9
also, get that poor kid out of the net
If you really want to compare the teams...Kevin LaBanc is 8th among Sharks forwards in TOI/GP, and he would be 3rd on the Blues in points. They have 5 forwards with 9 more points than 2nd place on St. Louis. They score 0.76 more goals per game than St. Louis, not including tonight’s game.
I still remember Boston gifting Sj Joe Thornton when that trade happened live and just rolling my eyes lol.
I'm losing track at this point, but the last few were definitely not realistically stoppable.
