That will happen when you are right next to Winnipeg.

Those games happen. The Wings did a lot of great things tonight and while it stings I will take a loss where they dominate over one where they get dominated.

Wings always lose to the garbage teams. It seems to be their M.O. this year.

No excuse for making a terrible goalie look so good.

He was fantastic for us last year, but slowed down in early janurary and then hanzal took him out for rest of the season (still dislike hanzal for it), suffice to say if he didnt have injury concerns, i believe canucks would have locked him up far sooner for more then 1.5 for 3 years. I think he was among our top point leader before his injury making league minimum.

While I admit the Leafs aren't exactly incredible, they're hardly garbage.

No need to be so salty.

I hear ya, as a Leafs fan it was frustrating to see my team not give 100%(other than Reimer) all though I suspect it being their 1st back to back in forever had something to do with the Leafs skating in mud

That garbage team is only 4 points behind the Wings with a game in hand

They only qualified for the playoffs one time the past 5 years. Personally, the folks around here consider them a garbage team as do I. If you disagree, that's fine. We're all entitled to our opinions. They just are a lowly team in my opinion. And Wings seem to lose against garbage teams this year.

Also, 'salty' has to be the most moronic slang I've heard the past 4 decades. If I ever hear my daughter use that word, I'm grounding her for a month. What's with kids these days...

The point was they played like garbage tonight. And he was saying the Wings tend to lose games like this.

They did the same thing with Buffalo earlier in the season. At least that would make more sense.

Did I hear right that the Wings have had 13 games when the other team is playing a back to back while they are rested and only 3 times where it has been the other way around? That better even out over the season.
