Kadri is playing it off perfectly and like a pro would, thinking about what’s best for his team before personal emotion but anyone who doesn’t understand why the Sharks are doing this must be new to watching the game.

Since the beginning of time, and forever from here on in, if a team who has a 40+ yr old legendary player on their roster who gets disrespected in their estamation, regardless of how legitimate that perceived disrespect is, they’ll go over the top to try and send a message that they won’t tolerate that.

This isn’t at all about the specific teams or players involved here.

Every team in the league, ever would do the same if they have any player who holds a stature like Joe Thornton does. It’s always been like this, and it always will.
