Considering southern Alberta has more population I doubt that. Do you really think people in Lethbridge, Medicine Hat..etc care about McDavid and the terrible Oilers more than there more local team? even Red Deer is now a 50/50 split after 15 years of brutal hockey.

I live in Medicine Hat and I know way more Oilers fans. Anecdotal evidence but still.

I get that you guys are Flames fans, but it's a fact that there are way more Oiler fans around than Flames fans.(Alberta included)
