Luckily Ottawa doesn't seem that bad this season. Really don't want to see Hughes or Kakko on that Avs team.

The top three guys look real good, not much happens when they aren't out there. Although I will say the defense is really helping out the other lines a lot in terms of possession.

This game was the perfect ending for the Duchene saga. Just like after getting traded Duchene was like "**** yeah getting out of here" then the Avs get the last laugh by making the playoffs.

First game in Colorado Duchene gets 2 goals but then the Avs come back from 3-1 and win the game.

    Love it.

Yeah we’ve had troubles with big lines so far and that’s all we seem to be playing.

    Colorado
    Boston x2
    Toronto
    Dallas

No lead is safe with those guys.

to be accurate, sucking hard enough to collect MacKinnon and Landeskog and Rantenan in short order isn't exactly "luck"

    But goddaaaaaaamn what a line.

    I mean, one or two wins/losses in certain seasons it could be Huberdeau/RNH - Barkov/Drouin - Meier/Crouse.

While still some very good lines, none would be close to being the best line in hockey.

A lot of people were picking the Avs as a breakthrough team this year .....and they are proving they are up to that standard....this will be a team to reckon with!

I turned on the WS game when the Avs scored their 5th goal. I am still watching it.

    I can't quit now, can I?
