20-21 he gets dealt as a rental to cup contender, ultimately wins the cup and he gets hot in the playoffs with some seeing-eye shots. Cashes in as a FA, turns into overpaid slow PP QB and eventually gets bought out and retires.

At least that's what my crystal ball says.

Agreed. This is exactly what the discussion is about in the Torts thread. Ten years ago the player in Hamilton's position would have come across and crushed Suomela but today you get a half-assed poke check attempt. That rookie, with nine games NHL experience, had no fear of cutting to the net like that because he knew no one would touch him.

Also, how the heck are the Sharks already back on the east coast?

Coburn is gonna be that guy everyone forgets about, but he did his job just fine almost all the time.

He has been a way better this season, and got a step faster. It's his contract year and he is playing for a new deal.
