I rarely watch non-playoff games not involving my team but this Edmonton/Winnipeg game should be a beaut and on at a reasonable time. I can't wait.

I applaud NBC For picking different teams to show this year, even though I probably would have waited for Arizona vs. Toronto to feature the Coyotes. If I were an NBC Executive and I wanted to feature a better game, I probably would have gone with Colorado vs. New York. You get the NY Market, and you get to feature some young stars from the Avs like McKinnon and Landeskog.

Delay of game. He was trying to get a whistle. You get an automatic for shooting it out of play from in your own zone, but you can get one for blatantly trying to get a whistle.

I think that in addition to playing the puck over the glass in the D zone, Delay of Game also entails deliberately playing the puck into the bench to get a whistle (which Hall did)

Dallas announcers are saying because it was 100% intentional it's delay of game even though it was into the bench. When that usually happens it is because it was unintentional and player was just trying to flip it down the ice.

I guess but I thought the bench was okay or I just wanted it not to be there. I it was overly intentional

Tossing a puck out of play is a penalty in any zone if it’s done intentionally.
