I’ve watched a bit. Saw Batherson’s four goals. They seem to all be trying harder than their NHL equivalents.

I don't mind the 5 minutes of 3 on 3 overtime but playing a whole game with that format isn't for me.

I have said it a couple times this year but this is the Penguins worst game of the year.

0-5 on the power play and a short handed given up.

That and they haven’t looked interested at all. This team needs a shakeup via trade. That and Sullivan still runs out god awful lines.

I dunno but I imagine when you're at that level you do whatever you can whenever you can to get noticed. I'd like to think that's how I'd be.

Devils 6-17-3 on the road and 2 of the 6 wins are against the Penguins.

The Penguins FO need to do something via trade for this team.

If getting killed at home by the worst road team in the league doesn’t get you to that point, then there’s nothing that will.

It is according to the rules:

45.1 Elbowing - Elbowing shall mean the use of an extended elbow in a manner that may or may not cause injury.
45.3 Major Penalty - A major penalty, at the discretion of the Referee, shall be imposed on any player or goalkeeper who used his elbow to foul an opponent. A major penalty must be imposed under this rule for a foul resulting in an injury to the face or head of an opponent (see 45.5).
45.5 Game Misconduct Penalty - When a major penalty is imposed under this rule for a foul resulting in an injury to the face or head of an opponent, a game misconduct penalty shall also be imposed.

boarding resulting in an injury is almost always an automatic 5 min, but since you've acknowledged that it's at least boarding resulting in an injury, it was also a hit to the face - hence the face going into the boards and resulting in multiple cuts.

The Brassard penalty should have been 2 minutes at best, but I'll take 5. Vats got cut by his visor.

kind of a gift from Brassard, but nice to see Zacha get an extra point. He's played pretty well, but kind of unlucky

Brassard didn’t elbow him at all and the Devils player was cut from his visor or something else on the glass.

2 minutes at most.

Not a single person has said that it's not a penalty.

It's definately not elbowing.
I've watched it a few times and I don't think it's a major; Vatanen was cut by his own visor.
2 for boarding/illegal check and move on.
